Childrens Action Teams

OrphanAct is beginning to restructure itself using teams that support a specific children's facility.  On the left-hand menu you will see two Children's Action Teams (CAT's) listed.  This web page and those two team pages are in the initial "construction" phase.

OrphanAct currently has twelve presenters and each is in the process of forming a CAT to support a specific children's facility.

By clicking on "Irkutsk 8 CAT " you will get some idea of the CAT structure.  Irkutsk 8 CAT is led by Steve Moksnes and Lida Sclocchini.

Steve is an OrphanAct Presenter and a member of the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea.  Lida is a member of the Rotary Club of Irkutsk, Russia.

So far, Steve has made OrphanAct PowerPoint presentations at eight Maui Rotary Clubs and all eight clubs have agreed to become Co-Sponsors of Shelter #2, which is the children's facility Steve works with.  Each participating Maui club will have one volunteer on the Irkutsk 8 CAT.  When the Irkutsk 8 CAT web page is finished you will be able to see all the photos of the North American and Russian volunteers plus the shelter director's photo.
